BMI A Good Indicator Of One Major Risk For Heart Disease

BMI Body Mass Index

The National Institutes of health created the following guidelines to determine the risks our body weight has on diseases. The risks are determined using a formula that measure a persons body fat based on his or her weight and height.

Overall the formula works well to indicate the general guidelines, but when measuring bodybuilders or athletes that they're muscle mass isn't proportionate to their heights another formula considering their body fat percentage has to be used.
