Symptoms Of Heart Disease
One of the most common symptoms of heart disease
is angina, otherwise known as" Angina
Pectoris". ( Latin for "chest pains").
Commonly, angina pains
are typically described as chest discomfort rather than actual pain.
This discomfort and angina
symptoms are typically precipitated by exertion or emotional
stress, and exacerbated by having a full stomach or cold temperatures.
The discomfort or pain usually last for several
minutes.
Chest pain lasting only a few seconds is normally
not angina and is not considered one of the symptoms of heart disease.
There are other types of angina, where the symptoms
of angina are the same but are not percipitated by exertion.
These are described as stable
angina, unstable angina,
prinzmetal angina, prinzmetals angina, variant
angina, and microvascular
angina.
The most common angina treatment is nitroglycerine.
If the angina becomes unstable or occurs frequently it may be a
sign that a heart attack may be occuring. At that point immediate
medical attention is needed.
If You Think You May Have Angina Or Any Symptoms Of
Heart Disease.
If you do think you may have angina pains don't delay,
it is better to be safe and healthy then sorry and ....
Being brave and disregarding the pains and symptoms
of angina can be extremely detrimental.
If the symptoms are real and the underlying cause
is coronary heart disease delaying can cause a heart attack.
If a heart attack does occur nearly 50% of those attacked
never make it, and those that do, their hearts are damaged for ever.
Why take the chance? Call a doctor or an ambulance
immediately it is better being safe then dead..
